What is a chrome trim?
Chrome trim provides mirror-like decorative elements to your vehicle to upscale its look and turns it into something truly unique. Also, they can be used to refurbish weathered body parts to make them fresh looking again.
There are many types of chrome trim products offered in the marketplace.
- - Chrome Wraps
- - ABS Plastic Chrome
- - Stainless Steel
Both Chrome Wraps and ABS Plastics are decent low-end solutions but if you want the robust premium mirror look. Stainless Steel is the best choice for you.
At Tyger Auto, we offer whole sleuths of Chrome trim products to a very wide selection of vehicles: Sedans, SUVs, Trucks etc..
Trim Types:
- - Pillar Post Trim
- - Window Sill
- - Rocker Panel
- - Accent Trims
- - Specialty Trims (ex. Tailgate, logo cut outs…)
- - Gas Caps
For example, if your vehicle already has stock/factory chrome trims installed on the body, it would make sense to add the pillar post or window sill trim to complete the look. If rust starts settling into your rocker panel, our chrome trim would serve as cover for the blemishes.
In terms of material, our pillar post is make of #304 stainless steel for the extra shiny due to its higher chromium composition. On the other hand, our body panel trims are made of #408 Stainless Steel to enhance its rust resistance.
For 2021, we’ve added a full suite of Chrome trims for Chevrolet / GMC / Cadillac Mid and Full size SUVs such as Tahoe, Yukon, Suburban, and Escalade. Here are some sample images.
