this is my first purchase that I make in Tyger auto and at the beginning I had doubts about the real quality, but when I saw the product wow is amazing, this product is perfect, elegant and strong, look grate in my RAM 1500, I will definitely recommend it to my friendsPurchased from: Tyger Auto

Got this to protect the back of my new 2020 Jeep Gladiator. Easy install, beefy bumper will not only help me step up to the back, but should protect from cars hitting the bumper in the parking lot!Purchased from: Tyger Auto

Love how touch this is!Purchased from: Tyger Auto

I previously had a bully hitch guard. It was too small and people dinged my bumper around it and it rattled. This one is much bigger and I am sure will protect my bumper better and has an antirattle bracket. Super easy to install, too.Purchased from: Tyger Auto

I bought this bumper step for my 2014 Honda CR-V. The hitch receiver is by Curt. Installation was easy. All I needed was my husband's 11/16' wrench to tighten the anti-rattle U-bolt. The bumper step is now secure and doesn't rattle. The included lock is a nice addition.I bought this for three reasons. 1) As a bumper step to better wash my rear hood area. 2) As a step up into the rear for my older dogs. 3) As a tailgate deterrent. If someone rear-ends me, he will bear the brunt of the impact because this bumper step is solid steel. This bumper step arrived in less than 48 hours from ordering. It arrived well packaged, with styrofoam around the angles, and the main step wrapped in multiple layers of bubblewrap. All said, this is a 5-star product. This does NOT affect my rear sensor.I have two minor complaints about this bumper step, though. The top really needs to have an anti-skid surface on it.Purchased from: Tyger Auto

This is an awesome accessory that adds some protection for the rear of the vehicle. Construction is excellent and material seems to be high quality. Installation was self-explanatory and done in less than five minutes. It's visually intimidating to tailgaters. I'd definitely recommend it.Purchased from: Tyger Auto
Comments:
Jeepers who carry the spare tire on the tailgate will have often noticed vehicles hovering too close behind, perhaps because of a false perception that that big mud tire is just a fluffy rubber pillow which will protect their own vehicle from any major damage. The irony is that there is some truth here, at least at some Jeep disadvantage, as it'll be the first thing a vehicle (e.g., Pickup) plows into and thereby avoid the rear OEM or steel off-road bumper completely a foot further back and down. By then, the damage of the spare tire being forced upon (or through) the spot-welded tailgate will have been done, along with the rear lower quarter panels and the D-pillars of the fiberglass roof shell. After some recent encounters with texting fools on the interstate, I found this solution to overcome those absent minded FB types with fair warning that my journey will continue happily along well after their radiator leaks over their damaged front end components and perhaps no one to text on a broken cellphone. To shield the spare tire from the prospective impact zone, I utilized a receiver hitch extension (5-inch) with a 4-inch drop/rise (e.g., Meyer FHK45054) in order to bring the receiver hitch up, rearward and flush just under the 35" spare tire treads (Teraflex carrier used here). The Tyger Hitch Armor was installed thereto and, "Protego!" Even Voldemort wouldn't touch that, except for those (like mine) with a heavy M/T tread - so for you 32" and lesser types like stock this setup should work. Overall it's a matter of preference and peace of mind while on asphalt. Either way, it'll work.In the enclosed pictures you will note the Tyger's structure in this particular setup with or without the Meyer will spread the force and crumple zones straight downward and/or away from center. As an added insight, invest in the very best of receiver locks (depicted: Bolt Receiver Lock 7018448) to keep the Tyger accounted for. Overall, exceptional craftsmanship with a rugged Jeep appeal and which will serve well with an OEM bumper or until the next upgrade to aftermarket steel.Safe travels to all involved.Purchased from: Tyger Auto

This is a darned fine hitch step. I bought it to provide some protection from rear-end collisions having twice been whacked by drivers who seem to lack an understanding of physics. The first time I had a bumper bar (on a Jeep Grand Cherokee) and suffered zero damage, while the other driver smashed the bejeezus out of her BMW. Earlier this year, driving my Golf R, a gentleman with a penchant for smashing into other drivers whacked me again. No bumper bar/hitch step, and a repair bill that approached $4,000.So, I got this Tyger bit for my new Grand Cherokee, which has a hitch receiver. The package--lock, do-hicky for preventing wiggling and noise, and the hitch step itself--is very nice. All very high quality, and a step/bumper protector that would likely crumple the front end of an M1 Abrams tank. One caveat is that it has occasionally caused the back parking sensors to go a bit cattywampus, even activating my brakes at one point. I subsequently removed it and reinstalled the hitch step and have not had any further issues (though this all happened in the last 24 hours). I sincerely hope that I'm able to use it without any further problems, because it is one darned nice hitch step, but if you have back parking sensors you should be aware of the fact that this may cause some interference with that system. Don't toss the packing materials away before you give it a whirl.Apart from that, a crazy nice product.Purchased from: Tyger Auto

I live in a small Texas town where folks LOVE to smash into your truck or car's bumper in the parking lot and just drive off. I tried using the Bully Bar hitch step, but it moved easily (and rattled) and they bashed it into the plastic on my bumper and dented the chrome on the bumper to either side since it was too short (and sometimes bashed into my tailgate),. Well I saw this product and installed it and have had 2 people hit it already in just 3 days. One drove off, but hit it so hard it moved slightly to the left, which takes some doing with the hardy anti-rattle clip. No damage happened to my bumper or tailgate, scuffed the step some. A second person smashed into me at taco bell, that put 2 scratches on it, but again, no bumper damage or tailgate damage. She said,, 'You have that big ole thing on the back of your truck, so it doesn't look like nothing happened to your bumper.' So anyway, I am happy, now maybe I can even replace my poor dented up chrome and plastic bumper and tailgate! I highly recommend this product! Also, with this step on it keeps folks from running under your truck, which I have also had happen.Purchased from: Tyger Auto

Just installed on my 2006 RL. Looks great. Doesn't stick out too far. Very sturdy, I like the bracket that is included to prevent rattling. Overall good buy.Update: Just had my bumper replaced since a Mercedes slammed into the back of me. Yesterday, someone drove into the back of me at a gas station. This product saved ny new bumper. Their front end didn't look so great. Definitely worth the money!Purchased from: Tyger Auto

Super fast shipping! Excellent packaging,.... they say presentation is everything and this is no exception. Very efficient use of the box, packed like a completed puzzle so unboxing was a breeze! Installed quickly and looks GREAT on my new truck! The only suggestion I have; not a fan of the plastic cap on the lock, I dont think it will hold up well. I would change it to rubber and actually connect it to the pin. That said, well worth the money. Waiting for by Tiger Bull Bar to come. Having both will make the truck look sick.... cant wait!!!Purchased from: Tyger Auto

Great hitch step. Easy to install. I used the 17MM socket to install the nuts on the stabilizer. I think that getting through the packaging took longer than the install itself. Nonetheless, I'm a big guy but standing on the step felt sturdy. Fits the 2017 Tundra SR5 Crewmax 4x4 Off-road.Purchased from: Tyger Auto

If you are in the market for a hitch step - whether you need one functionally or for looks - this is your product. I am very impressed as to overall build quality and good looks. This is one solid unit - appropriately sized also. Tyger goes out of their way to provide you with an extremely great product that is packed very nicely at a phenomenal price! The product is packed very nicely also. Just go ahead and buy them - you will be 100% satisfied!Purchased from: Tyger Auto

Only one problem, or five stars. The shaft is so long that when inserting into the hitch, I can't mount the step close enough to the bumper as I would like without it contacting and rubbing against the spare tire on my 4Runner. Solution is going to be either live with it or cut about 1 1/2' off of the shaft. If I cut, I'm going to be concerned about damaging the finish and exposing bare metal to rust. All of that said, very happy with the quality and function. I carry kayaks so this step is going to help with access to the roof rack.Purchased from: Tyger Auto

Very fast delivery. Very heavy duty. Very well made. Extremely easy installation. Couldn't be better. Lesson learned: insert into receiver as far as possible; insert pin (but do not attach lock to pin); install anti-rattle bracket (loosely), making sure the bracket can be installed with the pin in the hole you selected. When I discovered that the bracket would not fit with the pin in the hole I selected, I had to unlock the pin, pull the guard out one-hole, insert pin, then install bracket. That do-over cost me five more minutes, making total install time ten minutes. Five minutes I will never get back ;-) Oh, and the bracket u-bolt nuts have nylon inserts, so no need for Lock-tite (nice touch Tyger Auto). Torque wrench highly recommended (but 25 ftlbs is probably more than enough).Purchased from: Tyger Auto

Easy to install, appearance and structure are rugged! Even though it was a bit pricier than the others, and with all the choices out there, I'm glad I waited to get this one.Purchased from: Tyger Auto

After researching various brands of hitch steps, settled on this one. Very easy to install, strong and looks good on my wife's 2018 Canyon Duromax. Another plus, the wife likes it also. Good solid usable footbed. Some of the other models were little small on footbed area.Purchased from: Tyger Auto

Extremely well built! I wanted to check out the quality, so now I will be purchasing the front Bull Bar they make and Running boards to replace the ones I have now. The ones I currently own are stainless steal and are fine but I just want to switch all to black and this is the perfect fit. Great Product, worth the money you spend!!Purchased from: Tyger Auto
